The Story
It's Kitten’s birthday and she’s invited her friends over for tea and cake. She hasn't got any of the ingredients so Kitten sets off to the village shops. Along the way, surprise after surprise sends her leaping into the air – from Mr Crusty popping out of a barrel, to a huge bang in Mrs Butterbelle’s dairy, and even a chocolatey joke that leaves Kitten in tears. Worst of all, no one has wished her Happy Birthday… Feeling sad and forgotten, Kitten heads home – until she opens her front door and discovers the biggest surprise of all!
